If you are 16 years of age or younger, you must be accompanied by a parent/guardian in order to attend classes at 889. Those 17 and up may attend classes unaccompanied.
In the course of your use of the site, you may be asked to provide certain information to us. At 889 Yonge Inc., we know that you care how information about you is used and shared. We appreciate your trust that we will care for your information sensibly. 889 Yonge Inc. is the keeper of the information collected on the site and your information collected here will not be distributed to third parties or business affiliates without your prior consent.
In addition, on our in-person intake forms, you will see an option to stay informed via email communication from us regarding new products, promotions and other 889 Yonge Inc. related news. If you wish to receive these email communications, please indicate that by checking the box provided. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time using a link provided in each email message or simply by contacting us and expressing this desire.
PURCHASE / CANCELLATION POLICY
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds of any sort at any time. Any disputed charges must be made within 30 days of the charge in order to receive a full refund. After 30 days no refunds will be given.
Private Yoga/Private Pilates/Private Meditation/Therapeutic Yoga/Thai Yoga Massage/Ayurveda
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. To hold a reservation for a private session, we require a valid credit card number with an expiration date. This applies even if you intend to pay with a gift card. We will not charge your card unless you miss your appointment. If you should need to cancel your appointment we ask that you do so 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If you are unable to notify us within this cancellation period, you will regrettably be charged in full for your missed service. Please call 416-925-7206 to cancel.
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Classes remaining past an expiry date cannot be carried over or extended. The 40 Day Welcome Experience has an expiry of 40 days from the date of activation. 5 Class Packs have an expiry of 365 days from the date of activation. You may reserve a spot in class online up to 15 minutes prior to class start time, however, please note that any spot in a class booked or cancelled after 60 minutes prior to class start time will regrettably be charged as follows:
889 Members & 40 Day Welcome Package Holders – $15 fee charged to your card on file
5 Class Pack holders – a class will be deducted from your package.
All classes that are booked using our online system and/or 889 APP may be cancelled using our online system and/or 889 APP. If you are past the cancellation window, the online system will show ‘late cancel’ as the option at which time you will regrettably be charged for your missed class as per above. There are no refunds for any payments made so please choose your classes carefully. If you make a purchase in order to make your reservation and subsequently cancel before the 60-minute cut-off, your purchase will remain on your account for future use. Our system will not process credit card refunds in this instance.
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. No holds or extensions of any kind.
Monthly Auto-Renew memberships will be automatically billed to your credit card each month until you cancel. Should you need to cancel, please send your request at least 1 week in advance of your billing date. Please email us at email@example.com and we will terminate your membership at the end of your current paid month. Any request received after your billing date will be processed the following month. You will receive an email confirmation from us confirming the termination. Cancellations may only be made after 2 monthly payments have been made. A $25 cancellation fee is charged each time a member cancels. Any payments not received within 20 days of billing will result in suspension of membership until payment is received.
12 + 6 Month Memberships
12 Month + 6 Month Memberships paid upfront are non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be placed on hold. This membership activates on the date of purchase and expires one year later.
Auto-Renew 5 Class Packs
Auto Renew 5 Class Packs will be automatically billed to your credit card every time your package runs out. You may cancel at any time and the remaining classes on your package will remain on your account to be used for one-year as of the date of purchase. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will terminate your Auto-Renew package. You will receive an email confirmation from us confirming the termination.
EVENTS + PROGRAMS
All purchases are non-refundable.
Events + Programs may be:
1. transferred (in their entirety) to another individual for the same event. Transfers must be made in writing to email@example.com up to 72 hours prior to the start of the event/program. Transfer requests received after this will be not be accepted and you will be charged in full for the event/program.*
2. cancelled for a studio credit if you notify us in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 72 hours before the start of the program. Cancellation requests received after this will not be accepted and you will be charged in full. No other refunds or credits are available under any circumstances. Classes remaining past an expiry date cannot be carried over.*
*this does not include the 889 Living Yoga Program (see below)

We will happily exchange or provide store credit on regular-priced, unopened, hangtags intact, unworn, unwashed merchandise within 14 days of purchase. 889 reserves the right to deny an exchange if the item being returned is in any way damaged or opened. Customer must retain original receipt. Store credit may be left on your account or given on a gift card. Any credit given on a gift card is considered cash. Lost gift cards are lost cash we do not honour them on file.
All Food, Juices, Tea, Skincare, Bodycare, Lotions, Sunscreen, Shampoo, Deodorant, Nail Polish, Make-Up, Earrings, Hair ties, Intimates (including sports bras), and mats are FINAL SALE. Unfortunately, no exchanges or returns will be accepted on these items. Mats may only be exchanged if they are in their original plastic wrap.
Sale and discounted items can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase accompanied by original receipt.
Gift Return & Exchange
You may exchange or return and receive store credit for your gift within 30 days of purchase accompanied by a gift receipt.
Online Return Policy
The request for an exchange must be communicated to email@example.com within 14 days of receiving the order. Your return will be processed within 72 hours. Online purchases may be exchanged or returned for a store credit in person at 889. Otherwise, the item(s) must be mailed back to the studio at the customer’s expense. All shipping and duty charges are non-refundable and you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping and duty costs for any items returned by mail.

All coupon codes provided by 889 as gifts or special offers are to be used in-store and/or online as directed on the offer. Discount codes may not be combined with any other offer or discount. This includes combining offers with member discounts.
LIVING YOGA PROGRAM
Modules: registrants must cancel up to 14 days prior to the module for a full refund.
200-hour program: Cancellations must be made in writing via email to our Program Director, Emily Ridout at firstname.lastname@example.org on or before August 1, 2016 at 12pm EST. From this point, and until the completion of the program there will be no refunds. If you cancel before or after this date your $500 deposit will be kept as it is non-refundable.
Gift Cards may not be used to pay for Doula Services.
