By: Shirlee Williams, long-time 889 friend, and one of the first teachers to ever teach at 889! When we first opened over 5 years ago, Shirlee used to come to 889 Yonge at 6:30am every Thursday to meet Christine at the desk with her hazelnut coffee and uggs to teach a beautiful, playful yoga class with our community. We love you Shirlee! Shirlee is now the proud owner of Buddha Rider studio in Collingwood, Ontario, and has created this incredible Yoga Festival, SHRI FEST.

Shri Fest is a yoga and music festival that celebrates life in all its beauty. It brings together a community of like-minded people in an atmosphere infused with creativity and wonder. This year the festival also features two 889 Living Yoga Faculty, Scott Petrie and Matthew Remski.

The event will take place from November 2-4, 2012.
